Training

Starting her figure skating career at the age of 3 with the Southern NH Figure Skating Club, Megan Nordle was a highly decorated competitor before becoming a USFS registered Coach with PSA (Professional Skating Association) at the age of 16. Miss Nordle’s passion for education and self-betterment inspired her to choose a path of molding aspiring skaters.

Megan earned her BFA in Dance Performance, with a Minor in Choreography and Pedagogy from The University of the Arts, while performing in local skating shows. She additionally studied Pilates, Yoga, and Human Anatomy. Armed with knowledge valuable to both low and high test skaters, Megan is passionate about helping to create a well rounded and educated skater.

Her philosophy is that the success of any Figure Skater can not rely wholly on on-ice abilities. As a professional dancer and skater with a very specific skill set, she is able to share and incorporate knowledge from a variety of different realms of artistic and athletic movement, and create specific and individualized training curriculum for each athlete, both on and off the ice.

Megan Nordle holds group and private figure skating lessons, as well as off-ice training in fitness and Ballet, for all ages and levels at New York City’s Chelsea Piers throughout the year.
